PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product design system and method and program for improving the noise and vibration performance of the device main body at the installation destination of a product while suppressing a coupled degree between different vibration systems. SOLUTION: In the product design system for designing a prescribed product while setting the design parameter of the product contributing to the vibration noise performance of the installation destination of the product, first and second vibration systems related, respectively, to the vibration noise performance, which are a pair of vibration systems which bring a coupled phenomenon that vibrate while exchanging energy therebetween are set so as to calculate a coupled degree representing a degree of the coupled phenomenon between respective vibrations in each set vibration system, and the design parameter of the product contributing to the vibration noise performance is set by reflecting the calculated coupled degree.
