PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately reflect intentions of document creators for printing. SOLUTION: When a scanned page is set as (3) an inexpensive monochromatic page, the overall control part 42 stores the data in a cue<SB>1</SB>(S101 to S104), When set as (1) a color page or (2) a monochromatic page, the data is stored in a cue<SB>2</SB>(S105). After completing the processing for the last page (S106), the overall control part 42 determines whether the data is stored in the cue<SB>1</SB>(S108), thereafter, the data stored in the cue<SB>1</SB>is printed in a color mode (S109). When all the data stored in the cue<SB>1</SB>are printed (S110), the part 42 determines whether the data is stored in the cue<SB>2</SB>(S111), thereafter, the data stored in the cue<SB>2</SB>is printed in a monochromatic mode (S112).
