PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a music content utilizing device which can suppress power consumption and can perform eye-friendly and easy-to-see display while protecting copyrights of music contents, and to provide a program for achieving the control method therefor. SOLUTION: When user authentication is successful at a music content providing device side, log-in and accounting are performed at the utilizing device side, and the providing device transmits a designated page data to the utilizing device side. The designated page data is displayed on an LCD of the utilizing device, and when a user designates a music content which the user desires to display, the content ID and page ID corresponding to the designated music content are transmitted to the providing device side. The utilizing device receives this music content data and stores it in a buffer temporarily. Then, after reading out the music content data from the buffer and transforming the data into a data for display as necessary, the utilizing device supplies the data to electronic paper to drive the electronic paper.
