PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable separation processing of a solid and a liquid while continuously performing suction of a fluid containing the solid. SOLUTION: The separation/recovery apparatus 100 comprises: a suction pipe 101 installed toward the fluid 5, and receiving the predetermined vacuum pressure from a suction machine 50 to draw-in the fluid 5; a first separation part 200 having a pipe diameter larger than that of the suction pipe at a predetermined portion of the suction pipe 101, and reducing the flow rate of the fluid 5 having flowed through the suction pipe 101 to separate a gas 2 contained in the fluid 5 from the other fluid matter 3 containing the solid 10; a counterflow prevention part 250 including a pipe body 210 connected perpendicularly at the lower end 201 of the first separation part 200, and a plurality of check valves 220 installed inside the pipe body and movable with airtightness with respect to the flow of the fluid matter 3 from the first separation part 200; and a second separation part 280 including a sieve member 104 allowing the liquid to pass at the lower end of the counterflow prevention part to recover the solid 10, and a recovery path 270 connected to the sieve member 104 to guide the solid 10.
