The present invention provides a joint fitting between members of a simple structure with few parts and able to transmit stress of both compressive force and tensile force and a joint structure and method of joining using that joint fitting, that is, a joint fitting 1 between members connecting an upper floor vertical frame members 11 and lower floor vertical frame members 11 and transmitting compressive force and tensile force, the joint fitting 1 between members provided with a metal connection member body having a length enabling it to be arranged bridging the upper floor vertical frame member 11 and lower floor vertical frame member 11 in a vertical orientation and joint parts 3 for directly joining with these vertical frame members at its two ends, the joint parts 3 of the joint fitting 1 arranged at the upper and lower floors being brought into contact with the vertical side surfaces of the different floor vertical frame members 11 and fastened by drill screws 24 screwed in bridging the joint parts 3 and the vertical frame members 11 in a horizontal orientation.
