<p>Disclosed is a method for determining a serotype rapidly in a simple manner. An immunoagglutination assay comprises mixing a bacterial cell with an antibody in an aqueous solvent and irradiating the mixed solution with light to optically determine the agglutination of the cell caused by antigen-antibody reaction.</p>
