An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to decrease the number of thin film transistors formed in respective pixels, thereby increasing the aperture ratio, by forming RGB color filters and CMY color filters in different pixels separately. An LCD panel(230) includes a plurality of first pixels having RGB color filters and a plurality of second pixels having CMY color filters. An image processing unit(210) receives RGB data to generate CMY data. The image processing unit selectively outputs the received RGB data and the generated CMY data. A controller(220) controls the supply of the RGB data or CMY data outputted from the image processing unit. A data driving unit(240) converts the RGB data or CMY data outputted from the controller into analog data, and supplies the analog data to the first pixels and the second pixels.
