PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitor which is rapidly and easily arranged without necessity for embedding in the ground, etc., is microminiaturized so as not to be easily found, is inexpensively manufactured, and raises precision in specifying a position. SOLUTION: The remote monitor comprises slave sensors 10 including a pressure detecting device for detecting pressure by a body 1 to be detected in a distribution state in the ground, and a transmitter for transmitting radio wave with a prescribed frequency when the pressure is detected; and a master sensor 20 including a receiver for receiving the radio wave transmitted from the slave sensor, and a transmitter for transmitting the radio wave with a prescribed identification code by ad hoc communication.
