AUTOMOTIVE DOOR LOCKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automotive door locking device which is composed such that an active lever is directly connected to a connection member such as a cable that is connected to a lock knob.

SOLUTION: The automotive door locking device is composed of an activation mechanism B for selecting a lock state of inhibiting the hook means of a hook means arranged on an automotive body and a hold means arranged in a door and hooked to the hook means from being unhooked and to an unlocking state of permitting the hook meas hooked to the hook means to be unhooked. The activation mechanism is formed of: an active lever 24 that is selectively rotatable to an unhook inhibiting lock position and an unhook permitting unlock position; an idle lever 29 for activating the active lever to the locking position and the unlocking position by operating a key cylinder; and the connection member for activating the active lever to the locking position and the unlocking position by operating the lock knob. Then the active lever is provided with a key connection arm 24c that is operably connected to the idle lever, and a lock knob connection arm 24b that is directly connected to the connection member.
