PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect and present partial videos from videos constituted of many frames in the order of high uniqueness. SOLUTION: A video input part 1 inputs a video constituted of a plurality of frames, and a sequence extracting part 2 divides the input video into sequences according to a predetermined reference, and a feature vector extraction part 5 extracts feature vectors from the divided sequences, and a cluster configuring part 7 configures a cluster in a feature space configured of a plurality of extracted feature vectors, and calculates an evaluation value expressing the index of the separation level from the cluster with respect to each feature vector. A sorting part 8 ranks the plurality of sequences extracted by the sequence extraction part according to the evaluation values calculated by the cluster configuring part. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
