PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure for dowel joint, allowing alignment between a dowel and a dowel hole and up-and-down installation of a furniture unit located on the upper side and a furniture unit located on the lower side in a well workability. SOLUTION: In the structure of joining the dowel 1 with the dowel hole 2, the dowel 1 is protruded upward in opposition onto the upper face of the furniture unit 3 located on the lower side and the dowel hole 2 to be loosely fitted to the dowel 1 is provided in opposition onto the lower face of the furniture unit 4 located on the upper side. The inner rectangle of the opposite dowel 1 is almost the same as the inner rectangle of the opposite dowel hole 2.
