PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide/swing type door having fire preventive performance by sealing the space between a door panel upper part and a suspension rail. SOLUTION: The slide/swing type door is equipped with an upper rotating arm 18 and a lower rotating arm 19 which are rigidly joined at one-side ends to upper and lower ends of the rotating shaft arranged inside a supporting column fixed along one vertical frame of a frame body, respectively, and pivoted at the other ends to upper and lower end surface of the door panel 13, the suspension rail 14 which is provided at the lower end of the upper frame 11u of the frame body and internally provided with a suspension sheave which slidably suspends the door panel 13, and a cover which shields a space formed between the suspension rail and the door panel. The cover is composed of a fixing cover 39 installed on a suspension rail side surface from the position of a suspension sheave in closing the door panel to the vertical frame different from the vertical frame 11s to which the supporting column is fixed, and a movable cover 40 which is installed to the door panel from the position of the suspension sheave in closing the door panel to the vertical frame to which the supporting column is fixed and slides in the width direction of the door panel according to the opening/closing of the door panel.
