PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct and eliminate the lateral imbalance of a mixture on a screw spreader caused by the retention of an excess mixture on the screw spreader. SOLUTION: This screw spreader device is provided with a control circuit 19 controlling the driving of drive motors 15, 16 so that the drive motors 15, 16 drive a left screw spreader 8a and a right screw spreader 8b in one of a normal feed mode in which the left screw spreader 8a and the right screw spreader 8b spread the mixture equally to the left and right while feeding the mixture in laterally opposite directions to each other and a corrected feed mode in which the left screw spreader 8a and the right screw spreader 8b feed the mixture to the same direction side of a pavement width and spread the mixture equally to the left and right while eliminating the accumulated mixture on the screw spreader located on the opposite direction side with respect to the feed direction, and hand switches 20a-20c sending signals for the control circuit 19 to alternatively switch modes of the driving motors 15, 16, to the control circuit 19.
