PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition for optical films, which can well maintain durability and a light leackage-preventing property, and can simultaneously prevent staining on repealing, and peeling under severe conditions. SOLUTION: This adhesive composition for optical films is characterized by comprising (A) an acrylic polymer prepared by copolymerizing at least monomer components (a1), (a2), (a3) and (a4) and having a weight-average mol.wt. of 800,000 to 1,600,000 and a weight-average mol.wt./number-average mol.wt. ratio (Mw/Mn) of 10 to 50, (B) an isocyanate-based cross-linking agent, and (C) a silane coupling agent. Therein, (a1) an alkyl (meth)acrylate and/or an alkyl (meth)acrylate, (a2) an aromatic ring-containing monomer, (a3) a hydroxyl group-containing monomer, and (a4) a carboxyl group or amino group-containing monomer.
