PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable type projection welding machine which can surely carry out the operation for supplying components, such as bolts and nuts, and a welding operation, and also is excellent in the operability for an operator. SOLUTION: A rotary shaft 11 is supported by a base member 8 having a grip 9. A rotary driving means 13 and a rotary base member 14 are attached to the rotary shaft 11. A movable electrode 15 having holding portions 22, 80 for a component 1 is connected to the rotary base member 14. The rotation angle of the rotary driving means 13 is set so as to come to a supply position where the component 1 is supplied to the holding portions 22, 80 of the movable electrode 15 from a component supply passage 17 and so as to come to a welding position where the component 1 can be welded to a mating member 42 after turning from the supply position.
