PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a headrest device of a chair which enables a headrest mounting member to be attached to a backrest frame easily, firmly with good appearance. SOLUTION: A concave groove 13 which is directed to right and left is formed at the lower end of a headrest mounting member 8 which supports a headrest 9 so that the height can be adjusted, and a fork section is made, and then, the fork section is fitted over a rear upper horizontal rod 4 which is directed to right and left at the upper end of a backrest frame 5 of the chair and the headrest mounting member 8 is attached to the rear upper horizontal rod 4.
