An interior panel assembly in which concentration of stress on a hinge portion is suppressed during expansion of an airbag, and an airbag device equipped with that interior panel assembly. A door frame (50) is bonded to the back side of an interior panel (40). When an inflator (63) is actuated, an airbag (62) begins to expand. When the airbag (62) presses a door portion (44) from the back side, tear lines (41-43) are torn up and the door portion (44) begins to open while turning to the indoor side. Since a slit (58) is provided along a leg portion (54) in the frame portion (54) of the door frame (50), the hinge portion (53) deforms smoothly. |
