<p>Deglycosylated long pentraxin PTX3 and desialidated long pentraxin PTX3 aredisclosed, as well as processes for their preparation, pharmacological compositionscontaining them, and their use for the preparation of a medicament for the treatmentof diseases in which the use of the long pentraxin PTX is indicated, particularlyinfectious and inflammatory diseases and female fertility disorders. Theseproteins are endowed with therapeutic activity superior to that of glycosylatedpentraxin.</p> |
