A charged service providing method of a free broadcast is provided to modify a frame of a broadcasting signal for a specific area and offer a charged service network which is compatible with a broadcasting free service network and is independently operated. A relay station of a free broadcasting system judges whether a transmission interval of a broadcasting signal is a charged interval(S401,S402). When the transmission interval of the broadcasting signal is the charged interval, the relay station encrypts channel analysis information of the broadcasting signal by using TII(Transmitter Identification Information) about a corresponding relay network(S403,404). The relay station reconfigures a frame of the broadcasting signal, and transmits the reconfigured frame of the broadcasting signal(S405). A mobile communication terminal of a user, who subscribes to a broadcasting charged service, receives the transmitted broadcasting signal, decrypts the channel analysis information by using the TII included in the reconfigured frame of the broadcasting signal, and receives corresponding contents.
