A method and a device for providing a payment service using a barcode are provided to enable a user to perform a payment using a banking card such as a credit card, a debit card, a check card, or a cash card without using a wired/wireless card checker or a PG by using the barcode. A transceiver(310) transceives data with external devices. A shop ID information converter(330) performs conversion between member shop information and member shop ID information. A storage device(340) stores information related to a seller, a buyer, or payment transceived through the transceiver or used/generated by internal devices. A barcode reader(350) collects the information recorded in a payment barcode by reading the payment barcode of the buyer received from through the transceiver. A barcode generator(360) generates the payment barcode by including the member shop ID information and transaction information paid from the buyer. A controller(320) controls and manages relation among inner components. The member shopping mall ID information is a 1D(Dimensional), 2D, or 3D barcode. |
