<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pet monitoring apparatus and a monitoring system for increasing reliability to understand the body conditions by utilizing biological data of a pet to understand accurate body conditions. <P>SOLUTION: The pet monitoring apparatus is equipped with an air mat 2 provided for the pet, a pressure detecting means for detecting changes in an internal pressure of the air mat 2, a means for measuring biological data of the indoor pet P from the changes in the internal pressure of the air mat which is detected by the pressure detecting means, an IC tag which is attached to the indoor pet and has a temperature measuring part, and a reading part for reading information on the IC tag, and monitors the conditions of the indoor pet from the biological data and the temperature information on the IC tag. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
