<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably operate an internal combustion for accurately outputting a drive force within a prescribed range having an upper limit of a requested drive force in prescribed travel conditions. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid automobile 20, when it can output the whole requested torque to be output to a ring gear axle 32a within a range of an input/output limit of a battery 50 in starting on a slope, executes ordinary control so as to output the whole requested torque while feedback controlling the rotating speed of a motor MG1 to drive an engine 22 at a target rotating speed. Meanwhile, if the automobile 20 cannot output the whole requested torque, it resets torque commands of motors MG1, MG2 into a range in which the whole requested torque may be outputted, and executes emergency control so as to output the whole requested torque within the range of the input/output limit of the battery 50 while feedback controlling the rotating speed of the engine 22 by throttle opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
