<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller of a DC brushless motor which can drive a load having periodically variable load torque, such as a compressor for air conditioner, with low input, low vibration and low noise. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of a DC brushless motor comprises a DC brushless motor for rotary driving a load having periodically variable load torque, an inverter circuit performing PWM control of the DC brushless motor, a converter circuit for rectifying a commercial AC power supply to supply it to the inverter circuit, a means for generating a PWM signal for driving the inverter circuit, a means for estimating the rotational position of a rotor by detecting an induced voltage from the nonconduction phase of the DC brushless motor, a means for measuring a time required between commutations, a means for replacing the time required for one commutation by Sin component and Cos component through Fourier transform, and a means for compensating variation in induced voltage based on the Sin component and Cos component. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
