<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting diode light source apparatus for broad tape, which is low in power consumption and heat generation, long in service life, and excellent in toughness. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting diode light source apparatus for broad tape comprises a light emitting diode array, a gutter shape mirror having an unsymmetrical cross section and consisting of parabolas, and a left and right pair of side reflectors arranged so as to sandwich the gutter shape mirror, where the light emitting diode array is fixed to a focal position against the gutter shape mirror, and light distribution property radiated from the gutter shape mirror is larger in horizontal angular expanse than a shield beam light bulb having a comparable center light intensity, and large in downward expanse due to vertical angular expanse. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
