PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionizing device which enhances the rigidity of a coupling section. SOLUTION: An ionizing device includes an electrode needle for releasing the ion charged into either a positive or negative polarity from the front end after the high voltage is applied, an elongated casing material which can mount many electrode needles and incorporates a mechanism for applying the high voltage to each of the electrode needles, and an elongated body case for housing the electrode needles and casing material in the inside. The casing material is structured like a unit style and has a coupling mechanism which can couple many unit-style casing materials in a longitudinal direction. The body case is structured with a size large enough to house an elongated coupling assembly where many unit-style casing materials are coupled by means of the coupling mechanism.
