PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk cartridge which provides high-density recording of a recording disk medium and is excellent in operational stability to a drive unit. SOLUTION: In the recording disk cartridge 1, a cartridge case 10 has: an upper shell 11 which constitutes an upper wall of the cartridge case 10; a lower shell 12 which constitutes a lower wall of the cartridge case 10; and a frame member 13 which constitutes a portion of a circumferential wall of the cartridge case 10. In at least either one of the upper shell 11 and the lower shell 12, bent parts 112c and 112d which constitute a different part of the circumferential wall of the cartridge case 10 are integrally formed, and outer surfaces 511 and 512 of the bent parts 112c and 112d are located closer to a recording disk medium 30 than to outer surfaces 141a, 142a, 143a and 144a of the frame member 13.
