PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the supporting force of an engaging projection for a casing without deteriorating handleability. SOLUTION: The portable terminal device 10 is configured so that engaging grooves 17 extending in a longitudinal direction are formed on both side surfaces 12d, 12d on one side 12b in the longitudinal direction of a casing 12, and when the one side 12b of the casing 12 is attached on a cradle device 20, engaging projections 23 formed on the cradle device 20 may be engaged with the engaging grooves 17. For the size of a width direction in the one side 12b of the casing 12, the portion where the engaging grooves 17 are formed is made larger than a portion positioned nearer an end of the one side 12b the this portion, and the engaging grooves 17 are opened toward the end of the one side 12b of the casing 12.
