PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intrusion monitoring system wherein the certainty of tracking of an illegitimate intruder in a monitoring object plant facility is improved, video information is efficiently stored, and a status of the intruder can properly be grasped. SOLUTION: An intrusion sensor and a camera are arranged in each sensing area, a traveling direction prediction means 51 predicts a traveling direction of the intruder on the basis of intrusion sensing information from each intrusion sensor, when the intrusion sensor in the predicted traveling direction senses the intrusion, it is considered to be the same intruder, a video information recording means 52 records intrusion sensing information and video information cross-referenced by a video storage management means 4, only the video information in matching with the traveling direction of the intruder is recorded without recording video information items of all the cameras at all times so that the storage capacity is reduced and the video information for recording the behavior of the intruder can efficiently be searched.
