PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparator circuit capable of suppressing variation in determination time due to a comparison level and variation in comparison precision to output viewed from input while expanding a comparable level of an input voltage. SOLUTION: A first differential amplifier circuit 11 outputs a current corresponding to a difference between the input voltages Vin+, Vin-. A source follower circuit 18 level-shifts the input voltages Vin+, Vin- to voltages SV+, SV-. A second differential amplifier circuit 12 outputs a current corresponding to a difference between the voltages SV+, SV-. A handover circuit 16 switches between the operation of the first differential amplifier circuit 11 and that of the second differential amplifier circuit 12 corresponding to an operation common potential level of each of the input voltages Vin+, Vin-. A current voltage conversion circuit 15 adds an output current of the first differential amplifier circuit 11 and that of the second differential amplifier circuit, 12 and outputs an output voltage Vout corresponding to the addition.
