PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel supporter for a stringed instrument that can transmit a sound generated by the stringed instrument including an end pin as a component such as a cello and a contrabass to a floor without reducing it. SOLUTION: The supporter 1 for the stringed instrument is mounted on the floor surface F and has an end pin receiving member 3 that the tip of the end pin P constituting the stringed instrument C abuts against and a pressure-contact pin 7 which is arranged below the end pin receiving member 3 and has its lower end pressed against the floor surface F.
