PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torsional damper having a structure of pressing and fitting an elastic body 5 between a hub 1 and an annular mass body 4 for securing the mechanical strength of the hub 1 while preventing drop out of the elastic body 5 and the annular mass body 4 from the hub 1. SOLUTION: The torsional damper comprises the hub 1 having a disc portion 11 and an outer periphery cylindrical portion 12 on the outer periphery thereof, a sleeve 3 arranged on the inner periphery of the outer periphery cylindrical portion 12 and fixed to the hub 1, the annular mass body 4 arranged concentrically on the inner peripheral side of the sleeve 3, and the elastic body 5 formed of a rubber elastic material and pressed and fitted between the sleeve 3 and the annular mass body 4. At the end of the sleeve 3 directed to the opposite side to the disc portion 11 of the hub 1, a stopper 33 is formed for preventing the come-off of the elastic body 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
