PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure test device for a double suction volute pump capable of performing a pressure test with separate suction and discharge pressures by sufficiently sealing a suction chamber and a discharge chamber while inhibiting bending deformation of a vertical partition plate. SOLUTION: In the pressure test device, flat surfaces serving as seal faces are provided on a circumferential edge on a suction chamber side of the semicircle shaped partition plate separating the suction chamber and the discharge chamber of halved volute casings and on both horizontal sides of a rotary shaft. Two disks are prepared as pressure test tools and are disposed on the both horizontal sides of the rotary shaft in a manner that the disks contact with the flat surfaces provided on the suction chamber side of the partition plate circumferential edge, and the two disks are fixed to a member axially connecting them. The member axially connecting the disks is provided on at least one axial side with a bolt fastening structure which is axially fastened. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
