PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for diagnosing the deterioration of ultrasonic vibration sieve wire nets which accurately diagnoses the deterioration of wire nets. SOLUTION: The deterioration of a wire net 1a2 is diagnosed based on a resonance frequency of an ultrasonic vibration sieve 1. In more detail, for example, when a differenceΔP (=P0-P1) is larger than a prescribed threshold valueΔP0, the wire net 1a2 is determined to deteriorate, wherein P1 is a peak value of a resonance frequency of the ultrasonic vibration sieve 1 on which the wire net 1a2 to be diagnosed is mounted and P0 is a peak value of a resonance frequency of the ultrasonic vibration sieve 1 on which a normal wire net 1a1 is mounted. WhenΔP (=P0-P1) is smaller than the prescribed threshold valueΔP0, the wire net 1a2 is determined not to deteriorate, whereinΔP is a difference between the peak values of the ultrasonic vibration sieve 1.
