PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination adjustment fitting for the backrest of a vehicle seat that works substantially free. SOLUTION: A carrier means (25) is provided between arcuate wide end faces (13.3) of wedge segments (13) to connect an eccentric ring (12) with a rotary adjustment member (20) so that they do not relatively rotate.
