PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress offset of ink from paper to rolls generated during conveyance of paper of which image recording is completed by the pair of delivery rolls and to improve paper conveyance performance by the pair of delivery rolls. SOLUTION: Non-recording regions P2 in width direction both end parts of paper P are nipped in regions A in axial direction both end parts of the pair of delivery rolls 50. A recording region P1 between the non-recording regions P2 on both sides of the paper P is nipped in regions B between the regions A on both sides of the pair of delivery rolls 50. Hardness of a driven roll 54 in the regions B is set lower than that in the regions A of the driven roll 54. Due to this, nip force in the regions A of the pair of carrying rolls 50 is set smaller than that in the regions B of the pair of carrying rolls 50. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
