The present invention includes a unique tri-fold blister card and resulting tri-fold blister card package for packing, shipping and displaying a product at a point-of-purchase. The tri-fold blank improves the visual impact of the product package by providing a printable area in the reveal area of the tri-fold blister card. The tri-fold design allows for single surface printing at little or no additional cost. The tri-fold blister card preferably includes feature that allow a consumer to more easily open the tri-fold blister car package. These easy opening features include pre-defined glue patterns and an opening mechanism that is easy to operate. Further, the tri-fold blister card package can include a handle that preferably provide for easier handling by a consumer without distracting from the visual impact of the package.
