An inhaler device includes a heating element and a heating chamber disposed within a housing adapted to be handheld. A heating chamber cover may at least partially eject the heating from the housing when the heating chamber cover is displaced relative to the housing. A mouthpiece may be displaceable relative to the housing, and may partially define a cavity coupled to the heating chamber. A controller may prevent heating of the heating chamber if the mouthpiece is not displaced relative to the housing or if the heating chamber cover is not in a closed position. |
