METHOD FOR BRINGING A PISTOL INTO A READINESS CONDITION AND A HOLSTER

The invention relates to device for storing and carrying small arms. A method for bringing a pistol, which is placed in a holster, into a readiness condition consists in supplying a cartridge to a breaching line by displacing a breechblock (5) by means of a pistol movement. The breechblock displacement is carried out by overtaking the frame (9) with moving the pistol in a direction opposite to a movement used for placing it into a holster. The holster is embodied in such a way that it enables the pistol placed therein to be brought into a readiness condition, comprises a body (1), a fixing unit interacting with the body projection, an insert (4) for a pistol receiver, which encompasses the breechblock (5) and is mounted in such a way that it is displaceable therewith along the holster longitudinal axis and an overtaking-cocking mechanism which is embodied in such a way that the insert with the breechblock are displaced when the pistol is withdrawn from the holster with overtaking the frame (9) thereof. Said invention makes it possible to develop an efficient method for bringing a pistol into the readiness condition when it is withdrawn from the holster by a user's habitual movement for shooting in a shortest time.
