Container, esp. for transporting foodstuffs, is double-walled with heat-insulation and an electric heater between the walls. The heater is plugged into a power source by means of a plug in 1 of the outer walls. The plug has a pressure- and liq.-proof cover so that the container can be cleaned with water without risk of damage to it or danger to a person handling it.
