Respiratory air analyser - with scattered light detectors around multipass laser array with concave coaxial mirrors

Respiratory air analysis appts., e.g. for monitoring patients in intensive care units or duign operations, detects several gas components simultaneously by a multipass array. A laser beam is introduced between two facing coaxial concave mirrors in such a way that it undergoes multiple reflections. A separate detector is arranged for each component in a plane at right angles to the mirror centre line.
