The transporting arrangement is for moving objects in enclosed spaces, esp. in vacuum chambers, and consists of a support for the objects and several gripping devices suited to the support to convey it further on. The support (10) has two coupling devices in separate planes for simultaneous, form-fitting engagement of two gripping devices (16, 17). The support (10) can be formed as a rotationally symmetrical body with two parallel, coaxial ring grooves around its outer circumference for the engagement of the gripping devices (16, 17). The latter can have parallel, flexible rods (24) for sliding into the ring grooves.
