<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus equipped with an image carrier where an electrostatic latent image is formed, a rotary developing device provided with a plurality of developing devices developing the latent image formed on the image carrier rotatably centering on an axial center, and an ozone generation source generating ozone in an apparatus body, the image forming apparatus being characterized in that gas containing ozone in the apparatus body can easily be discharged from the apparatus body. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus equipped with the image carrier 1 where the electrostatic latent image is formed, the rotary developing device 40 provided with the plurality of developing devices 40A to 40D used to develop the latent image formed on the image carrier rotatably centering on the axial center, and the ozone generation source 2 generating ozone in the apparatus body, has a space part 43 for storing the gas formed in the outer peripheral part of the rotary developing device and sequentially sends out the gas in the space part by the rotation of the rotary developing device to discharge the gas containing the ozone in the apparatus body to outside the apparatus body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
