<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing ring which is disposed in a fastening portion of hydrogen high-pressure system piping of a fuel battery improve the reliability of a sealing portion compared with using a rubber-made sealing ring. <P>SOLUTION: (1) The sealing ring 10 is disposed in the fastening portion 21 of the hydrogen high-pressure system part 20 of the fuel battery, and made of a superelastic metal material. (2) The sealing ring 10 is rectangular in sectional form. (3) A contact surface 12 of the sealing ring 10 with the hydrogen high-pressure system part 20 is made smaller than in the case where the whole of the contact surface 12 is formed of a plane parallel to a sealing ring contact surface 23 of the hydrogen high-pressure system part 20. (4) The sealing ring 10 is rhombic in sectional form. (5) The contact surface 12 is a curved surface. (6) A groove 11 is formed in the contact surface 12 of the sealing ring 10.
