Stepping transport for label conveyor - has trip pin engaging channel in roller to stop rotation when follower teeth engage conveyor

A stepping transport is for a label conveyor driven over a support. A follower form-fittingly engages the label conveyor by a tooth, teeth or similar. The follower is linked to a reciprocating slide installed above the support. The follower consists of a forked piece (2) with at least one roller (1) rotatably mounted at its open end. The outer surface of the roller (1) accommodates the teeth (6) and at least one channel (10). A trip pin (11) engages the channel (10). This engagement stops the rotation of the roller (1). The channel (10) is at least shorter by the length of the desired transporting step w.r.t. the path taken by the slide. The roller (1) is stopped when the teeth (6) engage the label conveyor.
