<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition having a low dielectric constant and a high Q-value even in a high frequency band no less than 60 GHz, and to provide a dielectric resonator, a nonradioactive dielectric line and a high frequency wiring board using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition comprises a composite oxide of Mg, Al and Si as a main component, the composition thereof in molar ratio being represented by the formula xMgO-yAl<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-zSiO<SB>2</SB>(wherein x=10-40 mol%, y=10-40 mol%, z=20-80 mol% and x+y+z=100 mol% are satisfied), and 0.1-15 pts.wt. in terms of oxides of rare earth elements. The dielectric ceramic composition has MgO-Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and a crystal phase represented by the general formula: RE<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-wSiO<SB>2</SB>(wherein RE represents a rare earth element; and w represent 1 or 2) and precipitated in the grain boundary of 2MgO-2Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-5SiO<SB>2</SB>of a main crystal phase and a glass phase is not precipitated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
