<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an automatic detection of variation in a nozzle and prevent a user from having an anxiety over print quality. <P>SOLUTION: The subject is solved by providing an image forming apparatus characterized by preparing a liquid delivery means in which a plurality of nozzles are arranged along the first direction, a first movement means for relatively moving the liquid delivery means to the recording medium along the second direction which intersects perpendicularly to the above first direction, a test pattern forming means for forming the delivery profile of the multiple nozzles based on the test pattern, respectively, and a test pattern overwriting means for performing the overwriting of the test pattern when the plurality of the nozzles carry out dropping of a plurality of second dots. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
