<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that reduces an increase in frame size by efficiently arranging wiring lines, circuits, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has a display region 1 where pixels including EL elements, transistors, and electrodes are arranged in a matrix, driving circuits 2 and 3 which drive the pixels, and a terminal part which inputs a video signal and a control signal and supplies electric power. Further, the display device has a common wiring line 5 arranged enclosing the display region 1, a contact hole for connecting the electrodes of the pixels to the common wiring line, and a wiring line lead-out part to which the common wiring line and a portion of the terminal part are connected. The contact hole and common wiring line are less in width on a side (B) long in distance from the wiring line lead-out part than on a side (A) relatively short in distance from the wiring line lead-out part.
