<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination structure for a card insertion slot so as to downsize an apparatus with the illumination structure for the card insertion slot. <P>SOLUTION: The illumination structure for the card insertion slot comprises: cases (1, 11, 12) in which the card insertion slot (3) is arranged for inserting a card into a card insertion space (2); a substrate (4) having a substrate surface (4a) facing to the direction of thickness of a card inserted into the card insertion space; a light source section (5) mounted on the substrate surface; metal surfaces (61a, 12a) arranged face to face with the substrate surface across the card insertion space so that light irradiated from the light source section is reflected toward the card insertion slot. The substrate surface on which the light source section is mounted, and the metal surfaces for reflecting the light irradiated from the light source section toward the card insertion slot sandwich the card insertion space, in the direction of the thickness of the card so that the apparatus having the illumination structure for the card insertion slot is downsized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
