<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sphygmomanometer for reporting the counted result of the number of blood pressure measurements; and to provide a method of reporting the number measurements in the electronic sphygmomanometer. <P>SOLUTION: For every blood pressure measurement, measured blood pressure data output by a blood pressure calculation part 201 are stored in a memory 13. Then, the number of measurements is increased by a measurement number updating part 261 and is stored in the memory 13. A number display data preparation part 271 prepares data for displaying the counted result of the number blood pressure measurements on the basis of contents read from the memory 13 and supplies them to a display control part 241.
