PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information input device capable of inputting information such as kind of paper pattern as a structural information of a clothes paper pattern, pattern paper constituting line segment data, clothes structural line segment information data and clothes pattern paper sewing information to various 2-dimensional clothes pattern paper data without imparting load to an operator. SOLUTION: The kind of pattern paper as the structural information of the clothes pattern paper, the pattern paper constituting line segment data, the clothes structural line segment information, the clothes pattern paper sewing information are input to the various 2-dimensional clothes pattern paper data through an operation method utilizing a pointing device to allocate the 2-dimensional clothes pattern paper data on a 3-dimensional standing body data and carrying out a recognizing process utilizing the clothes pattern paper structural recognizing data (XML description system).
